SOE Continuing Education
Continuing Education through School Districts
The SOE Continuing Education partners with various school districts in the Kansas City metro area to offer graduate credit for teachers within their district. Options for credit may include professional development activities or special courses pre-approved through the School of Education and must be arranged by the school district coordinator for professional development or similar district personnel.
If your district is interested in offering graduate-level credit through SOE Continuing Education, contact Sheri Volpe or refer to CE course guidelines and procedures. Once approved, collection of fees and enrollment will be organized through CE.
Propose district professional development
Proposals include the following:
- Contact information of coordinating person and instructor (if different than coordinator)
- Vita or resume of instructor
- Proposed course syllabus (syllabus template)
