The MAP Center in the Kansas City Region is one of 9 MAP centers that provide training to teachers in the area of performance-based assessment, assist DESE in the development of the statewide assessment system and serve as a regional resource for assessment information to school districts. We serve as the professional development arm of the Missouri Assessment Program.
