Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction – General

Degree Overview

The Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (MA in C&I) is ideal for practicing teachers who desire a path to an advanced degree. Students who choose this degree program are interested in deepening their understanding of theory and practice in teaching and curriculum.

 

Admission to the program requires a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4-point scale, a one-page statement of interest/purpose, and two letters of recommendation.

 

The MA in Curriculum and Instruction program includes a total of 36 credit hours of coursework. The student and advisor set a program of study to form a coherent body of work related to the student’s educational goals.
