pre-education majors). Primary responsibilities are to
provide quality advising for undergraduates and to
coordinate the processing of certification. The staff also
assists with student recruitment events, contacts with
prospective students, admissions to teacher education, and
School of Education scholarship materials. The goal is to
provide support and referral services to students in the
School of Education to facilitate a successful academic
experience.
The Office of Student Services provides enhanced communication between students and other campus offices. The office is charged with coordinating the school's commencement ceremony and other student-centered activities. The office staff also works with the School of Education's student organizations to provide programming of interest to all School of Education students.
