*The following is recommended by ASCD to use the course materials:
Windows-based system: A Pentium II, 300 MHz, or faster, computer with a minimum of 64 MB of RAM and at least 40 MB of free disk space. Your color monitor should support a minimum of 256 colors. You will also need a Windows-compatible sound card.
Mac system : A System 8 or better Macintosh is recommended, with a minimum of 64 MB of RAM and at least 40 MB of free hard disk space. Your color monitor should support a minimum of 256 colors.
For any system, your modem should be at least 56k, Netscape 4.0 or higher, Microsoft Explorer 4 or higher, or any other comparable browser set up to accept cookies.
You will also need to download and install the free version of Real Player in order to play the audio and video clips. If you are accessing through a proxy server, please check with your administrator to be certain you can receive multimedia files.
