• Do you have access to a computer?

• Are you comfortable using the computer for basic word processing, e-mail, and accessing the Internet?

• Can you manage your time well, meet deadlines, and keep track of assignments?

• Are you self-disciplined?

• Do you believe in taking responsibility for your own learning?

• Are you flexible to changing schedules?

• Do you understand what you read?

• Do you have the ability to express your ideas, questions, and emotions in writing?

• Are you realistic about your academic ability?

• Are you persistent and don’t let obstacles easily stop you?

• Are you open to working in an unstructured setting?

• Do you enjoy working in teams, doing collaborative projects, etc.?

The more “yes” answers, the higher likelihood of success in an online course.
