Educational Leadership, Policy and Foundations (ELPF)

The mission of Educational Leadership, Policy and Foundations (ELPF) is to prepare and professionally advance educational leaders in the fields of P-12 and higher education.  To align with this mission, we are driven by the following goals:

  • To foster learning, listening, reflection and renewal

  • To promote diversity, equity and social justice

  • To emphasize critical inquiry, dialogue, effective communication and the importance of positive human relationships

  • To enhance the capacity of individuals to be education entrepreneurs and leaders of organizations, which reflect new practices and traditions

  • To create meaningful educational processes and experiences

  • To develop transformational/constructivist leaders

  • To create democratic educational arenas

  • To use technology to enhance educational experiences
