Welcome

Welcome to the Missouri Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) Web site.  Our site contains valuable information about this premier national program hosted at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Education.  Our national designation is one of 14 cohorts (and growing) in the United States that are are linked together through the Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) in Washington, D.C.

The Missouri EPFP has been in existence since the fall of 2006.  Participants in EPFP primarily come from schools, school districts, not for profit organizations, universities, state departments of education, and other organizations that have a focus on education, specifically education policy.  We start the selection process in the spring for the upcoming fall cohort.

Because our EPFP site resides next to the state line, we are pleased to have Fellows from the Kansas area.  This gives us the opportunity to entertain and examine education policy perspectives from two similar but very different systems.  We look forward to that trend continuing as our cohort provides a richer experience with relationships and networks building across the bi-state area.
