UMKC’s School of Education (SOE) has three disciplinary divisions with 16 programs, offering bachelor of arts, master of arts, educational specialist, doctor of philosophy, doctor of education and interdisciplinary degree programs. Several degree and certification programs are also offered in cooperation with the School of Biological Sciences, the Conservatory of Music and Dance, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
The building also features a Technology Learning Lab, offering one-on-one technical assistance to students (majoring in education), faculty and staff. You can learn and practice digital video capture and editing, stop motion animation, scanning, and CD/DVD creation. A multimedia production lab also is available.
Join the School of Education’s Student Government at Movie Night! He Named Me Malala will be presented on Tuesday, April 11 at 6:00 pm in the SOE Learning Commons, Room #129. Following the movie, there will be an open discussion. Snacks will be provided.
