Please join us for a School of Education Search Committee Training on Friday, October 28th in room 307 provided by Mikah Thompson and Kevin Sansberry from 12:00Noon-2:00 pm. This training is now an annual requirement for all individuals (including External Committee Members) who serve on a search at UMKC.
Effective search committees are essential to recruiting and selecting the most talented candidates who contribute to making our university the progressive and innovative establishment that it is. The positive outcomes of a successful search committee are the potential to increase diversity within our faculty and staff and to, of course, welcome the best and brightest to our university community. This training will include two modules: Diversifying the Academy and Search Committee Essentials.
This is a 2-hour training session. Lunch will be provided from 11:30am-12Noon. If you plan to attend this 2 hour training session and will also be having lunch from 11:30-12Noon, please provide your RSVP below.
If you are unable to attend lunch from 11:30am-12Noon, but will attend the training session from 12Noon-2:00 p.m. please RSVP below.
