Research Interests
Dr. Berkel will be accepting new student advisees in the PhD in Counseling Psychology program for the Fall 2010 semester.
Research Interests:
Multicultural issues, particularly religion and spirituality; also African American health, particularly factors that contribute to health promoting verses health-defeating behavious among African Americans.
Current Projects:
Examining Therapists' Attitudes Toward Incorporating Religion and Spirituality in their Current Practice.
