In conjunction with Founder’s Week (September 23-October 1), UMKC School of Education graduate Chris Wolff (M.A. ’12 in Higher Education Administration) will give a special presentation based on his upcoming book, A Pearl of Great Value: The History of UMKC, Kansas City’s University.
The book traces the development of UMKC to a small liberal arts college of 260 students to the robust, urban-serving research university of more than 16,000 that it is today. The book will be released on Friday, September 23, with proceeds going to support student scholarships through the UMKC Alumni Association. Preorder your copy through the UMKC Bookstore.
Wolff’s presentation, free to the public, will provide an overview of 80 years of UMKC history. Join us.
