The UMKC Welcome Center offers two campus visit options: Weekday Visits and UMKC Preview Days. Both feature admissions and scholarship presentations, walking tours of campus, and the opportunity to talk to representatives of UMKC programs.

Transfer Student Transfer/Career Changing Students
If you are a career changer or transfer student interested in becoming certified to teach, we recommend completing a transcript evaluation. Once we determine how your coursework will transfer and meet program requirements, we will call you to set up an appointment with an academic advisor.

International StudentInternational Students
We are committed to providing culturally sensitive services of the highest quality; we encourage future School of Education international students to check in with the UMKC International Student Affairs Office for program information and details regarding the international application process.

Graduate and Professional Graduate Students
Interested in continuing your academic journey in education by earning a Graduate Certificate, Master’s Degree, Educational Specialist, or Doctoral Degree? We understand that the search is difficult, and we are here to help! We host an information session on the third Thursday of each month for individuals just like you! RSVP to join us at the next session to learn more about the best program for your academic and professional needs.

Visiting or Community Student Professional Development
The School of Education Continuing and Professional Education (CE) Division provides educators with practical tools and approaches to meet current challenges in education.  We offer teachers, educators, mental health professionals, and other staff credit and non-credit opportunities to further professional development.
