Kyle Anderson


Dr. Kyle Steven Anderson has spent over 20 years in education in Missouri as a classroom teacher, School Improvement Coordinator, Teaching and Learning Coach, District Curriculum Specialist, central office administrator, and higher education faculty.  His primary areas of focus are college and career readiness for all students, program evaluation, and improving social sciences education.  The past 16 years, he concurrently served as an adjunct instructor at UCM, MCC, Northwest Missouri State, and Southern New Hampshire University teaching on-ground, hybrid, and online course in both history and education.

Educationally, Dr. Anderson earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Baker University, a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri, a M.A. in History from the University of Central Missouri, and a B.S.E. in Social Studies education from the University of Central Missouri.  His Ed.D. dissertation focused on closing the achievement gap for struggling students from diverse backgrounds, and his M.A. thesis focused on African American Women’s Activism in Kansas City, MO 1870-1960.
