Bailey Tennesen


Bailey has worked with students with disabilities for over 9 years. While receiving her Bachelor’s Degree at Missouri State University in Cross Categorical Special Education K-12, Bailey was a Para-Educator in the Springfield Public School District. After college, she went on to assist in developing the Life Skills III program at the middle school level in the Kansas City, Kansas School District. While working as a special education teacher, Bailey obtained her ESL certification. She is a strong advocate for students with special needs and believes every child has the right to learn. Bailey received her Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership at Park University. Currently, she will serve as the Special Education Compliance Consultant for the Kansas City area and surrounding region. Bailey enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew, their two sons Bear and Bentley and their English Bulldog Koolot.
