Theresa Wills is Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education Leadership at George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. She has been teaching online for over ten years, and shares her expertise in a variety of online instructional methods. The KCRPDC is happy to make her available to our educational community in a series of virtual workshops. In this virtual workshop Dr. Wills will focus on pedagogical practices that work across the curriculum. She will address such concerns as: How do I make my student’s thinking visible? How can I make sure that every student has a voice? What are strategies I can use to help and involve my English Language Learners? You’ll leave armed with a collection of practices and tools, and have a chance to take your questions to an expert.
Workshops are offered by grade band: K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Separate registrations on Frontline are required for each session. At least 24 hours prior to the session, a Zoom registration link will be sent to participants who have registered on Frontline. You will receive your Zoom session link immediately after completing the Zoom registration.
FEE: $25 per participant per session, or $20 per participant per session for those from KCRPDC member districts. Please do not prepay-Invoices will be sent out after the event has been held.
Sessions will be recorded. Recordings will be made available to those with paid registrations.
