The Professional Partnerships: Co-Teaching Training will provide an opportunity for teams to learn the art of Co-Teaching. Participants will study roles, responsibilities, approaches, and benefits of professional partnerships in the classroom. Co-teachers collaboratively design purposeful instruction and assessment with joint accountability sharing responsibilities. Effective implementation of Co-Teaching impacts and supports the learning of ALL students.
How to collaboratively plan for instruction and assessment along with many of the essential components necessary for effective implementation will be discussed. Training will reflect the work of Marilyn Friend and Ann Beninghof.
This session is for TEAMS of general and special education teachers with a building administrator as a vita team member.
