*Reaching and Teaching Students with Characteristics of Dyslexia – Level 1: Phonological Awareness & Phonics Focus

Are any of your students showing characteristics (signs) of dyslexia? What are those signs? What are teaching methods you can use to address the needs of these struggling readers? This workshop will take a closer look into understanding, reaching, and teaching students with reading difficulties that may be characteristics of dyslexia. The challenges of dyslexia may seem daunting. Early identification of dyslexia helps students receive the assistance and resources they need to be successful.

This training will include hands-on application of the following topics:
>> Understanding Characteristics,
>> Core and Causal Factors, and
>> Addressing Foundational Needs of the Learner through Phonological Awareness and Phonics.

There must be at least 10 participants registered by to have this workshop.
