09/16: Special Education Process: As a result of this training, participants will have a basic understanding of special education laws that focus on the implementation of the special education process, which is the process used for referring students for evaluation, finding children eligible for services, establishing an Individualized Education Program for them, and continued review of services and progress of and for the child.
11/18: Writing Quality Individualized Education Plans (IEP): As a result of this training, participants will know the best practices in preparing for an IEP meeting, be able to write present level of academic achievement and functional performance, write SMART goals related to the students’ needs and understand all components of the IEP
01/18: Progress Monitoring and Data Collection: As a result of this training, participants will be able to understand progress monitoring, the purpose of data collection and how it impacts your instructional practices.
03/15: Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP): As a result of this training, participants will learn how to conduct formal and informal functional behavior assessments and translating the data to a behavior intervention plan.
