  • Mondays 3-9 pm
  • Tuesdays 1-9 pm
  • Wednesdays 4-9 pm
  • Thursdays 12-9 pm
  • Fridays 9 am-1 pm

Walk-in (non-crisis) intake hours:

  • Tuesdays 1-3 pm
  • Thursdays 12:30 -3:30 pm

Office Closed:

  • September 2nd: Labor Day
  • November 25th-29th: For Fall Break/Thanksgiving
  • December 23rd -January 3rd: For Christmas/Winter holidays/New Year’s.

CCAS is closed for business when UMKC is closed.

UMKC Community Counseling and Assessment Services (CCAS) is committed to providing a variety of affordable counseling and assessment services to the Greater Kansas City Community.

Our counselors combine education, research, and a sincere passion for their work to help you meet your goals and potential. Through counseling, CCAS strives to assist each client in an individual and personal way. By offering full-service counseling options, each unique challenge is met with care and consideration.

CCAS believes that everyone should be able to afford counseling and assessment services. Our service fees are determined using a sliding scale fee structure based on income and the number of dependents.

Services

Our program provides help with common mood, anxiety, behavioral, and relationship problems and other life challenges. Those who attend counseling can, through their work with their counselor, achieve their goals in many areas.

Testing and Assessment

Community Counseling and Assessment Services (CCAS) provides evaluations for a wide range of psychological and educational difficulties. Specifically, comprehensive testing services are available for children, adolescents, and adults in need of psychological and/or educational assessment.

Staff and Supervisors

We are comprised of graduate student counselors and assessment specialists who are supervised by faculty members licensed as professional counselors or psychologists.
